Idiotic TV cable pundits just keep on screaming

This time it’s Jane Velez-Mitchell who spent a good deal of time Monday night (Jan.31, 2011) on her idiotic cable show hawking her own book. This is a cable show that’s supposed to illuminate issues of the day. Mitchell is the host. Pul-leeeeeeze!

Mitchell has never been noted for her intelligence, reporting or articulation. Instead, she’s noted for hysterical mutterings without any sense of her own nonsense.  As long as her makeup is in order, I guess. Funny she’s not even that attractive with her makeup in order. Some will criticize me for being harsh on this woman. Perhaps, but I am so tired of the greed of television hosts passing themselves off as news people. Men, too. There is a universe full of these goofs.

Mrs. Mitchell is a screamer. When you have nothing to say make sure you scream, the louder the better.

I was interviewed last year by her about a situation where a family had lost a dear daughter. She was yelling and screaming. No thought. That’s a given. But not even a smattering of sensitivity toward the family who had lost their child. No matter to her. She just screams and wants to be on TV. That’s the ultimate goal of her and so many like her. Be on TV. Do anything to get on TV and once your their, make sure you serve up as much crap as possible. That is the belief here. Serve crap because that’s what people want. That’s what keeps you on the TV.

I must say right here I was an idiot for going on her show. I was wrong for doing it. It won’t happen again.

And I don’t think people want crap. I think it’s just what we’ve all gotten used to. Life is tough. Most of us don’t like the work we have to do to support our families. We love our families. Our kids. Our wives. Life is tough. We slump down into the easy chair and watch whatever crap is delivered up. I’m to blame as well.

I hope that when it gets so bad we stop. We stop watching, so we don’t have the likes of Mrs. Mitchell cluttering up our space. We want something better. We deserve it. Absolutely.
