So, here’s the deal: Critics say President Obama thinks too much, he does give good speeches, they say, and yes, he may be charismatic, but all that does not equal a great leader. Smart, charismatic and articulate. Naw, not near good enough to be a great leader. It’s much better to be stupid, dull and inarticulate.
Silly people. Yes, they have every right to be misguided and I need to curb my emotions when I listen to dunderheads. Words do matter. I just don’t understand why some folk can be so misguided. It seems so obvious that President Barack Obama is exactly what we need right now. He is the right man at the right time in the right job. I’m convinced of it.
President Obama is arguably one of the smartest people ever to occupy the White House. His solutions appear to be reasonable and workable. He has an eye for the future, while not forgetting the past. He builds a tomorrow on today and yesterday. Sorry for the overused marketing phrase. I am not very good at marketing. Jesus! My job should indicate that fact.
A person charged with leading us has got to at the very least have those three things. It would seem to me that would be the minimal requirements. And yet, we’ve had president after president that couldn’t put two coherent sentences together, that spoke as if they had been deceased for several days and were childishly impulsive. In fact, those three things seem to have been the minimal requirements.
I’m grateful for president Obama and wish him the best. He is my President. Absolutely.
